Leaving Tomorrow…

Going to leave before Noon and spend the day with Nora and Koro. Both of them have the day off. :-) Tomorrow evening will be an going away party for my friend Cassie. Then, on Wednesday, I will be having an All-Star outing at the parks. Cassie is hooking me up with a pass.

I turned in my uniform and bank today at work. No more Bahia Mar Beach Resort for me ever again.

21 Days…

I have 21 days left until I check into the Walt Disney World College Program for the second time. I have 16 days left until my current job (Bahia Mar Beach Resort) is done, probably for ever. The days have been going by slowly. The occupancy at work has dropped to barely 50 percent and we just stand around, surfing the internet. I need Disney and its wonderful parks to stimulate my brain again.

I have found a roommate! Mr. Matty B says that we can live together. He will go to the housing office on the 29th to let them know of our request. I cannot wait. That is the good news.

I joined a Facebook group dedicated to College Program Alumni who are doing the Summer Program (May 18th to August 15th). I found some who were willing to look me up on the Hub under contacts. My info is listed as All Star Sports Goofy. I worked at All Star Resorts as a Front Desk Agent on my last program. It was a great job but I was really hoping to get the parks this time. I felt that I missed out on the park experience my first program. They get to do special parties and ride times for park cast members. Guest don’t go to Walt Disney World to see they hotels. They want to parks!

I’m hoping that it only says All Star because that is where I was in the Fall and not my assigned location. I sent an email to a College Program Recruiter but I have not heard back. :( It’s all a waiting game.

I am just happy to get to experience it all over again. This time, Gay Days and Star Wars Weekends will be the highlights of my journey!

Celebrity...Or is He?

I just checked Jeff Mackenroth into my hotel. My co-worker saw his ID and told me who he was. I did not believe him (I cannot remember faces). But sure enough, when I typed his name in google, there he was.
For those of you who do not know, Jeff was on an earlier season of Project Runway. Unfortunately, he had to leave the show early due to medical reasons. It was sad.
Why he decided to stay at my hotel is beyond me. What made it even more strange was the fact that he booked our cheapest room through Orbitz.com. I, of course, gave him an upgrade and made sure everyone in the back offices knew he was here.
Perhaps I should get an autograph. I do have his signature on his registration card, but my manager has already claimed that. :( I could always misplace that one and have him sign another...for me.

Wizards of Waverly Place

So I just found out (from Glennys) that the cast of Wizards of Waverly Place were at one of my company’s hotels in Puerto Rico, the Condado Plaza, filming their new movie.

I wish I had known that they were there cause I might just have paid the 50 dollars a night that I get at our resorts and stalked David Henrie (he’s legal; check IMDB).

I don’t really watch the show but I have seen a few episodes. It’s an ok show. Not as bad as some of the other crap that Disney has on their channel now (Hannah Montana). I’d say Wizards and Phil of the Future (Ricky Ullman is hot and legal) are the only shows I’ll watch, if I cannot find something else on.

Anyways, the Condado Plaza is an amazing hotel (now a Conrad) and I am jealous. Disney treats their real Cast Members like gold and I am now too old to get in on that. smile_sad My only hope is that one day my child will become a Disney Channel star and I can ride his/her coattails. That would be sweet.
